It does seem that way - and also, Dollhouse! I finally watched ep 6 last week, and as a result of that, am now a lot more positive about the show than I was. (Although Tahmoh with his shirt off was also a plus!)

I'll have to go back and re-read your post when I get around to a re-watch. I'm determined to get Mr Caz watching so that'll be the time!
