Awww, thanks! There seemed to be a whole slew of those stupid pregnancy test fic all at the same time and they were all basically the same. I wanted to write something different.

I really love the idea that Derek and Casey figure out their meant-to-be-ness in the middle of someone else's crisis :)

I think they had been circling around each other for the past few weeks. (Obviously Vacation with Derek doesn't happen in this timeline.) But with Emily's crisis, that shook things up, causing them to act like a couple without them even realizing it. Casey was doing everything to support Em and Derek was doing everything he could to support Casey.
