Hi Anonymous. Nothing's wrong with you! I probably should have been more clear. This takes place after Toby had come out to California to ask CJ to join Governor Bartlet's campaign. (This was shown during flashback during In the Shadow of Two Gunmen.) I also referenced the bit of fanwank floating around that Toby and CJ had had a fling when they were younger. Does the drabble make more sense now?
