Music can be awful that way, associating it with bad things. There are songs I don't like because I heard them alot when my grandmother died, just stuff that was popular then. I don't like to listen to them. So I couldn't imagine associating this song with anything bad because its sad enough as is! I mean, for me it has the nice memory of my dad singing me to sleep, but it still makes me sad. James Taylor is one of the artist I grew up on, so all his stuff usually makes me get all nostalgic.
And good point about if WW had gone on. I hadn't really thought about it from that angle, actually, that they would have had to come up with drama and all sorts of crap to happen. I just am easy prey sometimes for the happy ever after. :)
