You're guesses a very good and your arguements are flawless! But more than that, I really can't say! :-) (But I think that the thing with Otto was more a one-night stand that a real relationship.)
And, yes, I didn't find the Santos's marriage to be quite as strong as the Bartlet's... and Abbey was FAR more saavy than Helen, who seemed to be clinging to willfull ignorance. It just seemed like the make-up for disaster. And no one seemed to be going there with their fics!
