Pal-gang was definitely an awesome character, even because she was very aware of her own flaws and didn't let them own her. In the space of a couple episodes, she goes from vapid and annoying to totally kick ass! She tries so hard to do the right thing that it's near impossible not to love her!
I'm so excited that you're watching the Wallflower! I'm so glad you're getting a kick out of it! Speaking of kicks, one of my favorite scenes is the fight in the first episode when Sunako is in that red kimono. I love she claps her shoes together when she and Kyohei are spoiling for a fight and how she throws her shoes down before she starts throwing bodies around. That's a little bit of the Sunako from the manga there for you!
That reminds me, I should finish watching the Press Gang. I have a little more time on my hands now that I'm not watching three Asian dramas as they aired! That was five hours a week!
