I only got 10 because I included three Asian shows! I couldn't think of any pairings from movies that stood out for me! Otherwise, I totally would have included Deb & Dexter on my list too. (I totally stole the idea from you, by the way! You were brilliant to think of them!)
I always remember Dan pointing out the huge, enormous flaw in Dana's dating plan to her - I really love that episode...
And that it was Dana that he was trusting to be the mature, reasonable one in the relationship. There was also the time with Natalie being sexually harassed in the locker room. Dan was the one who called Dana when she lost sight of what was important.
Your no. 4 tickles me - that was totally my ship on BtVS! :)
Oh, I totally shipped Buffy/Xander over Angel. But it helps that I really didn't start watching the show religiously until their senior year of high school and by that point Buffy and Xander's friendship became independent of Willow. I didn't become a Buffy/Spike shipper until Season 7, but they totally won me over to the point that's my OTP... but until then, I figured that if Buffy survived long enough to grow old, she and Xander would be a couple. And I have this feeling that's what the two actors always believed.
