I almost can't imagine how the movie could possibly be better than the trailer. Then I saw this...

So, I went to the movies this weekend to see (500)Days of Summer and was there early so I caught the little featurettes they play now with the commercials. It was for Where the Wild Things Are and it was AWESOME. The author/illustrator of the original kids book was on it saying how much he liked the director's interpretation of his original story. It was super cute. I think I'm going to have to see this one!

Quaggy, have you read Dave Eggers' story in the latest New Yorker? I haven't seen the movie, so I don't know how this relates to it, but it's a very visual piece!
